Lesson (Lucas/Victoria)

"I guess so. I mean I'm not really sure yet, because we never talked about everything that would happen. I don't even know how I will handle it if we decide that it would be the best choice." I shrug. "Why are you so surprised? Did you think I don't love you enough to think about the option?" I smile slightly as I watch his face.

I look at her and my eyes soften. I have no doubt that you love me, it's a matter of wanting to spend an eternity with me. Victoria, immortality is an unfixable issue. I can't be cured. You can be turned, but I don't know if I could do that to you. Eternity's a very long time to live. I shake my head. A pained expression crosses my features. This isn't an easy conversation. I love Victoria, but I don't know if I can turn her. Eternity's a long time to live. I don't know if I can do that to another person.

I look down on my hands and back at him again. "How did you become a hybrid?", I say and try not to think that I might turn into a vampire. I don't know what my future will turn out.

I look at her. Klaus found me. He thought my skills would be useful, so he turned me. It's as simple as that, really.

I know that we can't figure that out in one night, that is just impossible. I also know that if I would do it, we both have to live with the consequences. “Please be honest, Luke. Would you want me to turn into a vampire? Or would you rather...” I swallow. I know that if we decide that it is better for me to stay a human and hunter, we would also break up. I don't think he would love me if I would look like his grand mother and he would just stay 24. I look at him, my green eyes widened as I wait for his answer.

I look at her and shake my head. It's your decision. Not mine. I love you and I would welcome the chance to live forever with you, but you're a hunter. I can't ask you to make such a huge change for me. It's one thing to ask someone to move for a job, it's another to ask you to switch species. I love her; I'd love to spend forever with her. I don't know if I can make her turn. That's a big change

I stand up and start walking from one side to the other. I have no idea what to do. No clue how to decide. I'm afraid. Afraid of losing him, but also of the things that I have to decide. I lean against a wall and slowly sit down, my head against my knees.

I sit down on the floor next to her and wrap an arm around her shoulders. I speak softly. You don't have to decide now, but soon. I love you, but this is a decision you have to make for yourself. Don't concern yourself with my feelings. I want what's best for you. I'll be happy if you do what's best for you.

I nod and rest my head on his shoulder for a moment. "Let us go upstairs, I think I'm really tired", I say and stand up, while I take his hand in mine. I lead him to our bedroom and pull him to the bed. I already have my pajama short on, and I'm still wearing his shirt, that I took out of his wardrobe. I groan sadly and look to the ceiling. My mind is going to explode.

I climb into bed next to her. She curls against me and entwines her legs in between mine. She rests her head against my shoulder and her arm across my chest. I trace soothing circles on her back. I know this isn't easy for her. We'll get through this. One way or another.

"I hope so", I say and sigh. I love him too much and I'm also really confused. I want to hane he topic. "Let's talk about something else", I say, looking at him lovingly.

I nod. Your pick. What do you want to talk about? I look at her lovingly. I don't think I've ever been looked at the way she looks at me, pure love. That's all that crosses her features. We've never fought about anything; we talk. We're happy just to sit together. We're all each other needs.

I shrug. "I don't know. There's so much in my mind, but every time I want to form a question it seems like I can't." There is no sunlight outside, the night made our room pitch dark and just the light from the hallway came in. "I know I said I don't want to talk about it anymore, but I can't forget it anymore. Luke, I think I will do it. But before there are things that need to be completed. I want to find the killer and I want to god out what my father was researching for. I have all his old stuff, his jour s and everything. But I have I look through them. I have to be finished with all this before... Before I make any other things. And would you survive an eternity with me? I'm serious." I smile at him and look out of the window while my head rests on his shoulder.

I gently roll her off of me as I lean down and kiss her lovingly. My hand trails down her side. I think I can manage. I kiss her and smile softly against her lips. Se can take all the time she needs.

"I'm glad", I say against his lips and smile at him. Time to really change the topic. It doesn't help us to keep talking about it when I'm not sure yet. Or worried. I can feel that his hands stroke my stomach. "Do you want your tsgirt back", I ask and raise my eyebrows

I smile softly. No, but I'm sure it must be cumbersomely big for you. I gently tug it up over her head and toss it across the room. I kiss up her stomach, through the valley over her breasts and settle my lips upon her collarbone.

I moan in passion and pull him to me so I can kiss his lips. My lips wander further down to his neck and I trace circles on his pecs.

I know how to get her mind off of things. When all else fails, sex. I groan as she pushes me and rolls me over so she's on top. I let my hands rest on her hips as I trace circles on her bare skin. I love this woman so incredibly much. I know her.

I bend down to him and start kissing him. It feels like I can't get enough of him and I wonder how e feels about it. I can hear him groan loudly.

I groan and trail my hands up her back. I never want to leave this bed. She's everything to me. I don't care where we are, as long as I'm with her I'm okay.

I smile at him and we roll over again, so he is on top of me. I pull him as close as possible to me. Every touch and every look he gives me is making me feel so incredibly good. I don't want to be away from him.

I rest my head against her shoulder as our breathing slows down in time. Her fingers release their grip on my back. I can feel the scratches she's raked healing. This was more rough sex than we've had. It was, more passionate, hotter. I carefully roll off of her and sigh in contentment.

"Uhm...wow!", I say and try to breath normally. It takes a whole. I look at Luke and smile. " I didn't know you could be so...passionate", I tease and laugh a little bit.

I smirk. I didn't know you could be so aggressive. I tease back, regarding the numerous scratches she's left on me.

I bite my lower lip as I try not to laugh. "Don't worry, they'll heal in a few seconds. And let's be honest you enjoyed it", I look at him and raise my eyebrows. He was definitely having fun.
