Date Night (Sophia/Ryan)

A small smirk crosses my face. Pleased to meet your expectations. The waiter comes up to the table and asks for drink orders. I gesture for Sophia to go first. Ladies first after all.

She smiles. "You always seem to meet them" She said when she noticed the waiter and she saw what she wanted. "Ice water with lemon, please"

I look up at the young waitress. Just water, please. Thank you. I say as she nods and walks off. I fold my menu and set it down. I know what I'm having.

She looks at ryan and looks at her menu. She doesn't know what she wants but she doesn't. "Hmm so many choices. What are you getting?"

I look at her. Steak. I can help you narrow it down if you want. What are your top three or five picks? I say politely.

"Hmm. I would have to say shrimp, Steak, and lobster. I'm bored of chicken cause that's what I eat all the time at my grams" She smiled and looked back at the cliff

I nod. You have good taste; I would suggest the lobster. It's great. I say and take a sip of my water. I would know. Lobster's a favorite of mine.

"Okay, Lobster it is. You don't mind. I'm sure that the lobster does cost alot" She said as she sank down in her chair. She was afraid he yell at her like Sergiy did. He always did that when I ask stupid questions.

I sense her almost tense like she thinks I'll hit her or something. My blood boils at the thought of her ex hurting her. Of course I don't mind. I wouldn't have suggested it if I minded. I smile politely as the waiter walks over. We both order and he walks off. A jazz band sets up nearby our table against a wall and starts to play a soft tune. I stand and offer my hand to her. Dance with me? I want to prove to her that I'm a gentleman. I won't hurt her; I refuse to.

"Okay" She relaxes after he says that. She smiles at the waiter and tells her that she wants the lobster. She hears the light tune of the band start and takes Ryans hand. "Of course" She said as she followed him to dance

I lead her onto the dance floor and rest a hand on her waist, the other keeping hold of her hand, but I entwine our fingers as I move us in a slow circle. I smile softly as she moves closer to me. Our foreheads softly pressed together as we dance. Eyes locked. My eyes flit from her eyes to her lips then back to her eyes again. I am in love with this woman.

She puts her hands on his shoulder and the other in his hands as they entertwined. She moved closer to Ryan. Her forehead softly pressed against his. His eyes locked with hers and it was like life had meaning again. She was in love with this man.

I speak softly. So, how am I doing so far? I meet her eyes as we sway.

"You doing great. i would say that this is the best date i ever had so far" She said as her hips were swaying to the music

As the song ends I twirl her out and then pull her back to me. I smile softly down at her and kiss her gently before pulling back and taking her hand in mine. I lead her back to our table where our food is being set down. I pull out her chair for her before sitting back in my own chair.

She feels fire when he kisses her. She follows him to the table to eat their food. "Thanks for the dance. It was great. The food looks delicious by the way." She says as she digs in.

I nod and cut into my steak. My pleasure. I take a bite and chew, swallow and take a sip of my drink.

I look at her. It was good, thanks. We talk and laugh until both of us are finished. All of a sudden a line of waiters walks over and starts singing happy birthday as they set a cake in front of me. Damn it. They finish and clap. I blow out the candle and they go off. I apologize; I forgot that they keep birthdays in the system. I motion for her to try some as I pick up my fork. Please, have some.

She smiles. That's great. She notices the waiters walk over and start their normal setup for biethdays on Ryan. Omg it's your birthday. Happy Birthday and I would love some. She ate some of it and it was delicious
