He smiled and spun them around so he was doing the pinning. "My older little brother, which means im stronger." He smiled. "And years more of human blood. Oh..." He said stopping to listen as a bird tweeted. "Oh look your friends calling." He laughed getting up and dusting himself down.

"Oh i'll do more than that. You're pathetic Stefan, you couldn't make life hell for a anyone let alone me. Elena dies and you go all mopey until the next one turns up. New flash..." He said waving his hands. "There wont be another doppleganger, to replace her with."

I got tired of Damon's games. As soon as he was vulnerable and waving his hands, I punched him in the face. "No, if Elena dies, I die."

He flexed his face making sure everything was in place. "Ouch." He said checking to make sure nothing was bleeding. "You said the same about Katherine remember? Oh i can't live without her Damon, shes the love of my life." He repeated in a whiney voice.

"All the time i had to hear about your whining when at night she came and crawled into my bed. You could imagine my humor about the whole thing can't you." He chuckled.

I growled, "Elena is nothing like Katherine. She actually has feelings." I could feel the tears coming. What was wrong with me? I thought that I had flipped the switch. I could tell that Damon could keep ranting on about how he didn't care for Elena, "Damon, I know that if I let you walk to Elena's house, you wouldn't have touched her. Tell me that you don't care, Damon and I'll keep ignoring the lies." I sighed. This fight was going nowhere, "And that's why you walked to her house, you were hoping, praying that I would stop you from going there."

"You know nothing about me Stefan, so don't even think about trying to understand me." He spat through gritted his teeth. He was right of course, he could never hurt Elena. He'd kill for the girl because he loved her enough but she would never return the feels just like Katherine never would.

"Just go if you're going." He said turning back around to go back inside." He hated heart to hearts so he wasn't about to break down and spill everything to his annoying little brother.

Before walking off, I turned around once more and yelled, "She loves you, Damon!" I was sure he heard me because he stopped dead in his tracks. I,on the other hand, kept walking. It was true. I had seen it since Damon and her first met, the look of love in her eyes as he kissed her hand. No, I was not jealous. I was happy for my brother. I smiled the whole way to Elena's home.
