Anniversary (Primo/Katherine)

I walk into the hospital to surprise Katherine for our 7 month anniversary, i have never known anyone like her.
I have the book wrapped up and made reservations at a great place to eat, but i just wanted to spend time with her go see a movie also.
I watch her from afar... seeing her hard at work.

I smile as i walk up to her and hand her the book, Happy Anniversary Angel, what time are you off i have so much planned for us today. I say giving her a hug and a kiss.
I hand her the book, wait to see her open it.
I won't lie had help Lucas told me its your favorite, kinda got into it with him but its no big deal.

I smile softly and take the book from him. Thank you, and that doesn't surprise me. You've always had a habit of being nosy. I tease him. Some people don't want your help. Luke's been through a lot of bullshit; you getting "all up in Victoria's business' and "acting like an oracle" didn't exactly please either of them. I quote Lucas. I'm just quoting him. Darling, some people don't want help. If they want it, they'll ask, okay? I cup his face in my hands and speak softly.

The cure is held by a being that can easily kill us all and probably will kill us all, i wasn't being nosey just giving an adequate warning. Mr. Lucas feels that whatever Victoria wants to do she should even if it destroys the natural and supernatural world. I say to her sitting on top of a desk.

I plan to help her, but you know Kiara wants the cure if she finds out that I can still delve into Casper's memories she'll torture it out of me, or kill me, or worst case scenario i become a the homicidal maniac relative of Lucas Reid I say.

I hop off the desk
THIS IS NOT ABOUT THAT OR WHAT HAPPENED AT THE BOOK STORE, OR WITCHES AND DEAD HYBRIDS IT'S ABOUT US! i say in a jokingly bold voice.
So when are you off, so we can get to celebrating. I say looking around the hospital

I chuckle. I have one more patient. Don't make a scene. I smirk and kiss his cheek before walking into a hospital room and closing the door behind me. A suicidal schizophrenic teenage boy sits in front of me staring into space. Good morning. My name's Katherine. What's yours? I find that patients respond better if you don't act like you know them

I walk by the door and lean up against the wall so i don't intrude into the patients room but i listen.

Gideon... my name is Gideon. He says staring into space as he looks at katherine.
They talk to me you know, he's going to lose it ... he's going to give into the animal. PLEASE MOMMY STOP...no...PLEASE DON'T PUT ME IN THE CLOSET. The boy jumps off the bed and runs to the corner, away from Katherine.

I'm glad I brought the injectable sedative. It sits hidden in my labcoat pocket. I don't like sedating my patients but there's not always a choice. I don't flinch as he leaps across the room. Gideon, your mother's not here. It's alright. No one will hurt you while I'm here. Think of me as a guardian. You're safe with me. I say calmly as I look him in the eye.

No i know im safe with you, but the bad man is hiding. He will hurt you. Please be my mommy Katherine..., you can protect me. He says hugging Katherine before he begins feeling weak due to the sedative, but he is still awake.

I hold the child to me and rub his back slowly. Of course. I will always protect you. I say softly as I feel his heartbeat and breathing level off as he drifts to sleep. I pick him up and settle him into his bed. He needs rest more than anything. I brush his hair from his forehead before walking back out of the room. I take Roman by the hand and wordlessly lead him down the hall to my office. I take off my lab coat and lay it across my chair before tucking my cellphone into my back jean pocket and kissing Roman.

I heard what that kid said to you kat... it really touched you.. I say as i grab her hand.
Being a mom, would have suited you well. I say hugging her

I look at him and raise my eyebrows. Roman, I deal with children asking me to be their mothers everyday. It doesn't touch me anymore; I feel sorry for them. Gideon and I have spoken on more than one occasion, he forgets everytime. HIs parents are dead; he's going to live in this ward for the rest of his life most likely. His trauma is irreversible. I say softly.

Damn i can't ever get you to want children ha... well lets go love of my immortal life. I say grabbing her and pulling her close.

So lets go out and see a movie then we'll go back to your place and we'll change and go out to dinner. Any movie you want to see love and did you like the book

I kiss him. The book is lovely, thank you, and no I have no preference. roman doesn't seem to understand that there is no logic in having a child. We live forever. Our kid doesn't. It just doesn't work.

As we drive to the theaters, we are talking I know what your thinking it makes no sense in even talking about children but I always wanted to be a father is it so wrong that I think about children angel don't worry i know we won't have any... but the thought is nice. I say to her.
You always look so amazing.

I glance at him and turn my attention back to the road. Thank you. Roman, I just don't see why you torture yourself thinking of children. I don't know. I don't like to think about things I can't have.

We arrived at the movie theaters and I stepped out the car and opened the door for Katherine as she stepped out.
i know but we live in acworld where the impossible happens we are living testaments to that...so you never know. Enough talk lets enjoy the movie...
I walk and pay for our tickets and pull her close as we walk into our movie.

I wrap an arm around him as we walk into the movie and sit towards the back. I push the arm rest up and lean against him.
