Explaination

I growled as I threw my tray of paints across the room. My own sister betrayed me. Out of all my siblings I did not expect her to do it. Elijah had left us all those centuries ago, Kol had left before that. But Rebekah! She had been with me the longest. I wasn't sure what Elijah was doing right now, but I didn't really care. Kol was probably off being homicidal, probably beating some poor smouck to death with a baseball bat. Rebekah did the biggest betrayal of all, so far at least. Because of her I lost my human blood bag. Now I could no longer make my hybrids, Elena was a vampire, and Rebekah had destroyed the blood bags that I had left of Elena's blood earlier today. She had some serious explaining to do. I throw the glass jar that held the water to clean my paint brushes. It shattered against the wall near the door just as it opened.

"Already having a temper tantrum I see." I said as I walked in the door. I was still angry and hurt with everything that has happened between Klaus and I but he daggered me. All I did was fight fire with fire.

"Everything is ruined because of you, little sister!" I snarled at her. I get she was pissed that I daggered her but she needed to get over it. All she does it get daggered. "You have yet to see my temper Rebekah." I shouted just as I threw a paint brush through a painting of Rebekah that I had done a few years back. I was hanging onto my temper by a tread. I didn't have my daggers anymore, which pissed me off.

"Please Nick, I've lived with you all my life. I know your temper." I told him. I hide the hurt I felt when he threw a paint brush at a painting he did of me because I didn't want him to get to me. I didn't care if he was my brother anymore, I want my revenge.

"You betrayed me!" I shouted at her in almost shear agony. It hurt worse than when you betrayed us for that member of the five. What was his name again...Alexander I think. That had been unforgiveable at the time. I just wanted to massacre everything in this pathetic town.

"And you daggered me!" I yelled back at him. "Over and over again, everytime I ever disagreed with you!" I said. This has escalated quickly and I could feel hot tears burn behind my eyes.

"You were going to leave me, and break our promise just like Elijah did. What did you bloody expect?" I spat at her. It was true I daggered her a lot in the past but lately I didn't have to. Elena and them had done it for me. What I had said was also true. I daggered her for what I had thought to be the last time, when she wanted to leave with Stefan.

"I expected you to be my brother and see that your family was more important." I told him. We had all been there for Niklaus but all he wanted was for us to be behind him in his schemes.

"I was being your brother. I was protecting you from your own damn judgement." She never had the best judgement especially when it came to men. "Look how our family betrayed us. Mikael tried to kill us all, then Esther and Finn." I ground my teeth together.

"But they were our family Nick." I cried. I already felt the pain of having family betray you and Klaus bringing it up was making it burn all over again. "When family argues you don't kill them." I said. Maybe I was like Klaus, I was upset and angry, I wanted my revenge but they were still my, our, family.

"Exactly, they were." I ground out through gritted teeth. No one really ever admitted it but Rebekah seemed to take after me with her temper. "I've only ever daggered family to keep them safe, Rebekah. That's all it was ever for. Killing your father was to insure that you and our brothers stayed alive." I sighed loudly trying to calm down. "Our brother sided with our mother, both had to go. We can not lose anymore of us." I stated firmly, family was supposed to be everything.

I shook my head. He still didn't get it. I know our family turned against each other but they were our family, our blood, and now there are only few of us left. "Family is family Nick, thats all there is to it." I told him.

I groaned at her. "Not when the try to kill us Bekah." I gave up and walked over to the couch that was in the room. I just plopped down and stared at her.

"I don't know why I bother arguing with you, you've never understood the value of family." I told him. "Whenever you didn't like what we did or what we said you just daggered us and went against us because no one stood with you." I cried. "We tried standing behind you but it was you who betrayed us."I accused.
