I need to chill

I was walking around Downtown just trying to relieve some of my stress. I'd usually play football or baskteball but I needed time to think so I decided a walk would help. All day I've been thinking about the sire bond to klaus and how I'm losing Caroline. I really love her but I can't help but do what Klaus wants me to do. Why can't my life just be normal again, with parties and football. The good 'ol days.

Sarah glanced around at the small stores and houses, smiling slightly. It had been a long time since she had seen a small town and she had completely forgotten their charm, the homey feeling they usually had. She sighed, remembering her first experience with a small town. It was not one she cared much for and it definitely didn't give her a homey feeling. Sarah was taken out of her thoughts as she saw a boy walking down the street. She smiled. She had started to think that the city was completely deserted. Walking over to him, she decided to that it was time to really get to know the town, and she couldn't think of a better way to do that than by talking to a local.

"Hey!" She greeted him. "I'm new to this town, just got here today. Name's Sarah."

I looked uo when I heard someone'e voice it was female and she was saying hi. "Hey I'm Tyler, welcome to Mystic Falls." I said taking out my hand for her to shake. Before I was turned in a Werewolf then Hybrid I would have thought this chick was a loser and wouldn't give her the time of day, now everything is different.

With a small smile, Sarah shook his hand. "Thanks." She replied. "It's been a long time since I've visited such a small town" Commented the girl, a hint of a frown appearing on her face, which was quickly masked by another grin. "Anything interesting to do here? All I've seen so far are stores and little houses. Quite pretty ones, actually." She said, her conversational tone masking the fact that she was paying special attention to the sale adds glued to some walls. She was thinking about extending her stay. It was more than time for her to get over what had happened during her last stay at small town, and the place really had a nice and homey feeling about it. Sarah couldn't think of a better place for her to spend a couple of months.

"Well everyone usually hangs out at the Mystci Grill, its the party spot and the best resturant in town, well if your the drinking age." I told the girl. It was weird having this new side to me. I never held a conversation this long with stranger before but here I am keepin it casual.

Sarah discretely played with the lapis lazuli ring that rested on her finger, a sigh, which she repressed, starting to form on her mouth. Drinking age. It was an age she had never quite got around to passing, but which she had long met anyway. Sarah wouldn't be lying if she answered either, but she did enjoy a good drink. She smirked slightly before answering "I am."

I smiled. "Well the Grille is just a block away, theres a big sign and alot of people so you can't miss it." I told her.

Sarah dreaded the thought of going to the restaurant/bar alone. Usually, she wouldn't mind, but she was still uneasy about the little city. She was loving the beautiful landscape and the cute houses, but something about it was putting her on edge, and she would much rather not put herself in a situation where she could easily be killed. She knew few people would dare attack someone in a place that was packed, and she supposed that she wouldn't be any safer with the boy, but still she would prefer it that he went with her. "Would you mind bringing me there anyway?" She asked "I get lost easily."

I was a little shocked at this strangers request but hey maybe I'll find a familiar face at the Grille. "Yea sure, follow me." I told the girl. I guess Caroline really did change me for the better, people started liking me.

Sarah smiled. She hadn't really expected him to escort her to the Grill, and she was extremely relieved that she wouldn't have to go alone. "Thank you." She told him, her smile widening slightly. She was looking forward to seeing the more agitated part of the little town. Maybe it would help her overcome her trauma.

"No problem." I smiled. I headed to the Grill with Sarah following.
