Brief History:
Mia was born on the outskirts of Alberta, Canada, even though her parents were Americans. Her family, including her older brothers James and Edison, traveled back to America where they settled in the small state of Massachusetts where they lived until Mia turned 17. Her father had allowed her to date once she turned 17, so she got all dressed up and headed out. After leaving a friend's home, she was viciously attacked by a wild dog. Half an hour later, fighting for her life, a male vampire stumbled upon her. Pitying her, he turned her. She fled Massachusetts in 1819, leaving behind her family and friends. She moved to a small town named Mystic Falls where she became a veterinarian. Mia still lives in Mystic Falls, Virginia.
