Personality Lexi was a very generous person, and has a gentle attitude toward humans. Lexi was a vampire who drunk human blood, but strictly from hospital blood banks. Therefore, she has a simpler control with it unlike Stefan who falls off the wagon whenever he has a drop. She never hurted humans or regarded to them as he toys, but her equals as she was in love with a human as much as Stefan is, or was, with Elena. Turned Lee, only because it was a constant wish and they wanted to be together forever.The only time Lexi seemed to even look like she was capable of hurting a human was when Sheriff Forbes and two other officers captured and vervained her. Of course, Damon betrayed and staked her, killing her just to keep his cover as a human on the council.

Because once you can hurt, you can love. Love Stefan, that's the point.

Lexi's unfortunate demise was concocted by Damon. He had attacked a young boy and needed to cover his tracks. When Sheriff Forbes went to the grill, the girl pointed at Damon who was standing with Lexi, Sheriff Forbes assumed that the girl was pointing at Lexi. Sheriff Forbes vervained and arrested her. They took her to a back alley with the intent of staking her, however Lexi was strong enough to resist the vervain and almost escaped until Damon "rescued/saved the day" the sheriff by staking Lexi in the heart.

Lexi was born around 1659, and became a vampire in her middle twenties...how? Unknown. In 1864, she met young, stupid idiotic and wrecked, vampire Stefan Salvatore who tried to feed on her, unable to distinguish his kind from human. Foolish, foolish boy. Realizing Stefan was a Ripper, The Ripper in fact, only feeding and hunting, losing his humanity, Lexi took it upon herself to help Stefan get back as much as possible of his humanity, generally by not turning his feelings off, succeeding FINALLY. Lexi found Stefan, now back to his Ripper ways in April 1922 before getting him off human blood around 1935. They spent every one of his birthdays together. Until she was killed while visiting him in 2009.
